Get in shape...

Get in shape is all about how you take the shot, tight groupings, odd numbers etc...and this is my attempt.

I think that the colours are fab against the snow and making the triangular shape is always a good way to get the correct effect.

Im loving this course, its making me look differently at how im taking photo's and making me explore how my camera works, going into all the programmes ans settings. FLASH OFF.. Its one of Cheryl Johnsons pet hates.

Maybe its a sort of security blanket for others and as you get braver and mor confident then you tend to let go of it.

Festive Walkabout

This is another one of our assingments for the photography course and I was really pleased with how these came out.

Daily life...

Daily life here at the Kennedy's is anything but boring, hence the name Kalamity Kennedy...there is always some emergency or crisis going on in this house. Today my daughter Nadines car decided that it was going to have a bit of a moment and she had to pull over quickly, get out and go grab a machanic from a nearby garage to investigate all the smoke billowing from the engine...he said the Head Gasket had gone and wasnt worth saving...So having a fab uncle just around the corner she limped the car there and he diagnosed a faulty water pump...so down to our regular garage she limps her little Clio and says, 'Whats wrong with her?'
After much head scratching they phoned her and said ' Yep, your uncle was bang on, its the water pump' The good news being she doesn't need to look for a new car the bad news being it will cost her nearly £300. What a palava.
So you see, Kalamity is so right for us lot.. Watch this space peeps.

Spell it out..

This is a photo that I took as part of the photography course that I am doing. It was called 'Spell it out'...it had to be festive and capture something original. I think that this ticked all the boxes.
I am enjoying the course so much and will upload more of my assingments after i have posted this one.
