I dont think so!

Its what I need to do but never get round to it... I might pause for a moment or at least take a deep breath but slowing down isn't really an option right now as I dont seem to have enough hours in the day to do all of the wonderful things that I want to do...

SLOW DOWN- I dont think so.

Solitude,

I had walked past this once or twice and it was only because I had become dis-orientated and re-traced my steps that I happened to stumble upon it...that's when I realised that it had my full attention. I hadn't moved for 3-4 minutes, just gazing at this 'plain Jane' chair in amongst the foliage, it didn't look particularly comfortable, it wasn't really anything to write home about, and yet it was exactly where I wanted to be.
Realising that I could 'maybe' re-create this setting in my own garden I took a few minutes to decide if it was the planting or the place? The planting makes the place and the place makes the urges to be there...so that just leaves me with the atmosphere, I decided that it must be all of the above but how do you capture atmosphere in a photograph? Is it the camera settings, is it the lighting or is it just down to everything coming together at that particular moment in time? So I pushed the shutter button with crossed fingers and baited breath...
I think I got it though. I cant always see in photo's what I saw when I take the picture but here I can, here I can feel it. Here I can feel the solitude I felt when I was stood gazing, lost in my own space.

Excuse me..

You will have to excuse me but I'm a bit new to all of this Blogging lark,
hence the dodgy picture postings...Please forgive me and I will try harder...

Sugar frosting.

I had a wonder around Furzton Lake as rush hour was just beginning to picking up speed. I think these pictures sum up a winters morning. It reminds me of sugar frosting on the most exquisite of cakes.
